We built the golf league we wished existed.

We moved to Raleigh for work without knowing many people, and like a lot of people in a new city, we were looking for ways to meet friends outside of our normal routines.

Golf became our go-to. Not because we were great at it, but because it was a fun way to get outside, be competitive, and grab a drink afterward. The only problem was finding a group of people who wanted to do the same thing.

So we created Bags & Birdies.

What started as a few people meeting up for a round has grown into a community built around golf, friendships, and having a good time. Some members have played for years, while others are just getting started.

Bags & Birdies was never meant to be about creating the most competitive golf league. It was about creating the kind of community we wish we'd found when we first moved to Raleigh.

That's still what we're building today: one tee time, one event, and one new friendship at a time.
