Common questions.
- Q.01
Do I need to be good at golf?
No! We have events for experienced golfers looking for a casual group, and for people just getting into the game, driving range socials are a great place to start.
- Q.02
Can I sign up alone?
Yes, most people do! You'll get matched with a group through the Birdies to Buddies app. If you want to play with someone specific, you can request them when you sign up.
- Q.03
Why's it called Bags & Birdies?
Because we’re hoping to build more than just a golf league. "Birdies" covers the golf, and “Bags” represents cornhole and the other sports and social events we want to bring to the Raleigh community. The goal is to create more ways for people to compete, connect, and have fun together!
- Q.04
How can I help?
The best way to help is by connecting us with people who can make Bags & Birdies better. Whether you know a golf course that would be a great fit for an event, a local business interested in partnering, or someone who wants to help create new experiences in Raleigh, we’d love an introduction!
- Q.05
Is there an age range?
Most people are in their 20s and 30s, with a solid group in their 40s and up. All ages welcome!
- Q.06
What is the Birdies to Buddies app?
It's our app that helps people find golf partners, and also where we release sign up information for our upcoming events!
- Q.07
Is there a membership?
No. Pay per event, sign up for what you want to come to!
